Dinner in the Sky

dinner in the sky

How can you not get excited about eating a formal dinner hanging from a crane with ~20 of your closest friends?

Dinner in the Sky

Thanks Nate (and Andrea, and Betsy)!

Hopefully the appetizer isn't Egg-drop soup, or the dessert Dump Cake. Sorry.

Actually, thank me. I sent it to Nate. But I did get it from his sister Betsy.

So what happens when you need to go to the bathroom?

Jesus is my Image Consultant

Jesus is my image consultant, I shall not be in want. 2 He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, 3 he restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake. 4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, [a] I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. 5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. 6 Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.

The Best Slide Ever

Intro to Molemen

This is the best slide I have yet to make in my teaching career. This slide makes me want to follow in John Krumm's footsteps and make fun, crazy slides for my lectures. (While still being effective). John has a running gag where he embeds product endorsements into his presentations. The first time he does it (like pausing for a very dramatic sip of Coke and describing what he is doing), it's baffling, but by the end of the lecture, it's very funny. To me, anyway.
