</car> bumper sticker

A little bit of XML humor for your car. This sticker is the closing tag for a "car" object. If you don't get, you probably shouldn't buy it. Buy this handsome and witty bumper sticker by clicking here. The quality of the graphics are much higher on the real product.

Awesome! I would buy one if I were a bumper sticker person, but I like my Element mostly non-adorned.
If you're disappointed that I'm not buying one, you could always make a "Non-bumper sticker people suck" bumper sticker to put on your car.

Sorta-anti-bush sorta-bumper-sticker
|
So here's another example of wacky car statements in Seattle. In this political thunderstorm, someone has drawn in crayon the slogan "Save a Tree, Not a Bush" on a piece of paper and taped the paper to the inside, rear-seat, passenger-side window. Here's my question, What choice are we making that would result in "saving Bush" , but not a tree? Maybe this is left over from the reelection campaign? Perhaps it was a child's entry into a political poster contest. We may never know....

That's pretty much 100 percent anti-Bush, zero pecent save-a-tree.

Inaugural Bumper Sticker (update)
|
|
Today I launch a new category on my blog: Crazy Bumper Stickers. These are photographs I have taken of bumper stickers that promote bizarre ideas or combinations of ideas that are definitely outside of the mainstream. These are ideas which really need to be discussed somewhere other than on a bumper, but which nonetheless show up on someone's car. Generally I'm not looking for *funny* sayings, but rather complicated stances on policy or unusual issue advocacy. Hence our first example: "I Brake For Nigerian Dwarf Goats".
The bumper has become everyone's little billboard to promote anything that comes to mind for (sortof) free.
Update: I was at the Woodland Park Zoo this weekend (in Seattle) and snapped a photo of some Nigerian dwarf goats. No bumper stickers on them though.

I think the argument could easily be made that the operator of this vehicle was more for the humor than the advocacy- unless there have been a number or car/NDG accidents in the greater Seattle area lately.

I don't think so. I think this is probably a guy who is into raising NDGs as an environmentally responsible way to get meat, or as pets. Pygmy goats (are they the same as NDGs?) figure prominently in the Biosphere II story. Which goes something like: "They are great livestock for space stations because they breed fast, don't each too much compared to the meat they generate, and generate less waste"
