A UN Report on China's response to the AIDS crisis. This was eye-opening to me about how the U.N. sees the world in relation to AIDS. In particular the terms "men who have sex with men" and "sex worker" seem to be new terms which have particular implications not related to AIDS. This is like the tension in dealing with teen sexuality. Do you deal with the world as it is, or do you deal with the world as you want it to be? |
