Anti-Abortion and Pro-Life

Now that I have successfully pissed off a ton of people with my last abortion related post, I will continue on... Today I am musing about whether it is possible to be "anti-abortion" and not actually be "pro-life". I wonder this because I see a lot of people that are really happy to make abortion illegal (something for which I would vote for if was ever asked), but not particularly active in helping to alleviate the pain associated with poverty, war and disease. So, great, we bring a lot of kids into the world and leave them to suffer? That is lame. |
