Nate and I got a kitten yesterday! We don’t know what to name her but she is so adorable! She won’t leave my side (opposite of Chrissy). Can we do a naming game on the Palmer Blog? She is 12 weeks old and so small she fits in a Ziploc box. She is really a scaredy cat. She looks like Chrissy but lighter grey and softer looking. She misses her sister right now but likes to be flipped over and have her belly rubbed (rare for a cat.) Nate likes her too. He wants to name her Metro. I wanted to name her Moses until we found out it was a girl. The lady who we got her from said that she didn’t ilke to be with the “common” cats because she thinks she is better than everyone else.
My entry is “Myrrh” It kind of sounds like a cat purr and is a little mysterious – just like all cat behavior.
Metro isnt my choice of names (Metra since it is a she). What about Alice or Harriet?
Name the cat “Skate” after Nate the Skate. After all Andrea picked the name for her Husband.
PEARL IS A GREAT NAME. I THINK THAT IS A LOVELY NAME. THE CAT IS GRAY AND HAS A LOT OF CHARACTER. IT IS ALSO EASY TO REMEMBER!
I like “Grady”, short for gray lady.
DAH!!!!
What about “ZIPLOC” or “Zippie”
What about Colpiz? (ziploc backwards)
I like “Eileen”, she’s a cut above the rest!
I’m going to have to side with Uncle Mike’s entry on this one – if she fits in a ziploc box, she should be named zippy…or maybe zipper; but with a name like that, she’d better be a fast cat, too!
We decided to name our kitten Adidas because she has three stripes. If you don’t like Adidas, you can call her “Didi.”
